COVID-19 Email Update 4 – 29 June 2020

Hi Friends,

Its hard to believe its already been 3 months since we have had to close. I hope you have been keeping healthy, active and safe.

Opening Date:
In terms of where we are and re-opening. I’d like to think (and hope) that we closer to opening that I realise but unfortunately, I still do not have a hard date of when we might reopen. My instinct tells me it will likely be in stage 3 but hopefully I’m wrong!

Membership:
As always, if your membership is currently on hold, it will continue to be on hold for July 2020.

Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. If you decide to cancel your membership, I will do so effective immediately, voiding the 30 days notice as stipulated in your membership agreement. If you choose to return at a later date, and do so by 31 December 2020, you will NOT have to repay the admin fee. If you return within 3 months of cancelling and before 31 December 2020, I will honor the pricing plan you are currently on.

What to Expect When We Do Reopen:
Whilst we do not yet have guidelines from Ontario Health, I’ve been monitoring how other provinces and countries have re-opened their spaces. I will be sending out a PDF later this week with more information including specific guidelines on how we will be operating and what to expect. Questions such as how we will be managing access to the facility, which areas will be open, when/what classes will be running, open gym times, etc.

Free Run App:
When we do reopen, all members will be required to pre-book their workout slot (a predefined time) using the app. At this time, I do not have a confirmed number for how many spots there will be as this will depend on the guidelines we are given from Ontario Health.

To link your existing account to the app, the best way is to go the “Forgot Password” route, using your email address to reset the account.

Please note if you have a child(s) in the system, and you have used your email for their account too, you may be taken to their account instead when you first login to the app. If this occurs, please let me know and I will sort it out directly in our system.

Friendly FYI – when you do log in, the classes you see posted are the online classes we are currently running for our At-Home group. We are not open!

I have officially asked Ernesto and Rohan to rejoin the FreeRun team! To begin with, they will be adding more classes to our online schedule. So you’ll be seeing more of them soon 😃
