COVID-19 Email Update 1 – 23 March 2020
Firstly, thank you to all that have sent me messages of support and encouragement. It has helped more than you know. I’m am extremely grateful to you.
Secondly, to address the question of membership fees. I will be pausing all memberships for April UNLESS you reply to this email and ask me not to. For those members that continue, we are working on various ways to add value to you, such as more personalised workouts depending on what equipment you have at home, Q&A sessions with a coach, etc. This is evolving as I explore all our options.
If you place your membership on hold, it will be for April. If the #stayhome movement continues into May, I will extend the hold into May. And so on.
If you decide to cancel your membership, I will do so effective immediately, voiding the 30 days notice as stipulated in your membership agreement. If you choose to return at a later date, and do so by 31 December 2020, you will NOT have to repay the admin fee. If you return within 3 months of cancelling, I will honor the pricing plan you are currently on.
For those of you that have already cancelled or put their memberships on hold, if I have not responded yet, I will get to your emails. I’m trying to get through them as fast as I can…with 2 kids in the background going batty! 😝
As I’m sure you have all heard and read across the media, many businesses are going to be hugely impacted by the current situation. As a small business, I am already feeling these effects. And I know it is not just businesses. Many individuals have already been laid off and, as advised by my lawyers, this is going to get worse. I hope and pray for each and everyone of you that you find a way to get you through these times as best as you can.
